Bolga Flower Pot Basket

This basket can be used as a vase basket for flowers, as well as a deco basket in or around your home. Every basket is unique with a different design. 

Bolga baskets are one of the most known products of Ghana. They are traditionally and ethically handwoven by men and mostly women in a town called Bolgatanga in Northern part of Ghana.

The purpose of the “One girl, one box” project is to help provide teenage girls in deprived communities with sanitary pads in order to reduce absenteeism in schools. Access to pads means many of these young women will stay healthy and stay in school. Continuing their education ensures a brighter future for their whole family. Young women’s education is often the springboard for the entire family to break out of poverty. Our target is to constantly provide 2000 girls in rural schools with sanitary
pads, we currently have a data base of 615 girls we constantly provide pads to each
month in the Volta region of Ghana. In Ghana 95% of girls have reported missing
school due to menstruation. With many people experiencing financial hardship due
to the pandemic, we have ensured that our girls do not experience the impact of
period.

We might ship your basket pressed inward. Easily reshape your basket by sprinkling warm water on the entire basket, straighten it with your hand to get back the original shape and allow your basket to dry well.
