Storage Basket (with Handles)

This basket with handles can be used as a storage or deco basket in or around your home. Perfect for storing kids' toys, blankets, towels, books etc.

Bolga baskets are one of the most known products of Ghana. They are traditionally and ethically handwoven by a cooperative of male and female artisans in the remote region of Bolgatanga.

Each basket undergoes several production steps and it can take a few days to be completed. Baskets are eco-friendly as sundried elephant grass is used for weaving. To add colors to baskets, weavers use plants and non-toxic fabric dyes.

5% of every purchase of a Bolga basket is donated to the iHelp Africa's project that provides donations to girls in schools with sanitary pads. This allows schoolgirls to attend school even during menstruation, as they have enough sanitary pads available.

Due to the size, we might ship your basket pressed inward. Easily reshape your basket by sprinkling warm water on the entire basket (or soaking it in water), straighten it with your hand to get back the original shape and allow your basket to dry well.
